Interesting new truck camper made of fiberglass:

Found out about it from this article:

The build quality seems top notch and I like the hard side aft the cabover when raised.

Did you go to their Instagram? This is like their fourth evolution of their product. Definitely looks looks like it can be a great camper eventually, but it's all hype right now , we'll see if they make it to market, and where they are within a couple of years.

I know their FB page is a ghost town with only 6 likes for the entire page and about as many posts over the past 2 years. Doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. They did post on Thanksgiving about how all of the Flagship details will be out the following week. I don't know if the details are out but they didn't share them to the FB page.

I did look at their Instagram and I agree. Kind of odd they were named as a top new truck camper in 2021. The article has some interior photos that aren't on the manufacturer website or Instagram. It looks like molded fiberglass and from what I understand, the molds are very expensive so they would have laid out a lot of capital already. Even if they go under, I would think someone would buy the molds and pick up the design.

I know the owners personally and they have some really cool stuff in the works. Regarding the lack of online presence, they are trying to get things perfect before releasing anything else.

If there is anyone who can actually deliver on their promises here, I guarantee it is Supertramp. Their fiberglass tech and manufacturing methods are impressive. Expect great things to come from this small company.

You just might let them know that the first word one sees on their website is mis-spelled

For sure, I'll tell them. Keep in mind that this is a camper company and not a software company. Mistakes happen - thanks for pointing it out.

Why not? There aren't a lot of high end truck campers. Hopefully it's a quality product and motivates the competition to improve. It's a win win.

Correct. I'm not saying anything about price other than it's nowhere near 100k. They have their target market nailed and their products are going to be a big win for the people that they are designed for.

Also, in general, (no relation to Supertramp) if you are complaining about the price of a product then you are probably not within the target market or demographic for the product (it wasn't made for you). Just saying...

That’s actually a very interesting and reasonable point to make...not that I have ever ************** about the crazy high price of stuff I’d never consider buying ?:sneaky::rolleyes:

LOL, put me in that camp (;)) too. I think people will be pleasantly surprised with the pricing on these campers, but obviously that is a very subjective statement based upon each person's financial situation and a million other factors.

when do we get in on the "3/4 ton on a 1/2 ton truck" thing? too soon?
You'll have to explain what you mean a bit more, not sure what you are asking about here. Lots of product development and costs are not my information to share, but I wanted people here to know that the company is very legitimate and their products are very exciting.

I am currently in the market for a slide in camper. I contacted supertramp regarding their product and was impressed with the communication. It’s great to see other options for modern style slide in campers. I would be ordering one if they offered a 8ft model foot print model. Their pricing is in line with a fully loaded fwc hawk camper.

Under $50k? That's a lot better than the previously stated $100k.
