I bought a couple of cases of these for the wifey. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NVBYD8/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

She LOVES them! Now we are able to go on long runs without worrying about #1. I keep a couple in my DD in case I get stuck in traffic (has happened before, over an hour not moving)

the liquid gels up, so no risk of spilling! they come highly recommended!
Thanks!
I tried the red John bottle with the white screw on cap, and ended up dribbling on my nice down comforter, I was not happy :D

No pictures yet, but I added a length of sail-track to the underside of my platform so I could attach my changing room and leave it. It's a tight fit under the cover, but I'm hoping it will be much faster to set up and take down.

Just received a nice big piece of memory foam from a friend who works at Serta Mattress. Will be cutting to size and installing shortly.

Memory foam is great in normal temperatures. If you plan to use it in cold temperatures ( 20s) it will be like sleeping on concrete. Don't ask me why I know this ...

Yup, I am aware of that. Will likely be used in the summer months only. It does mold nicely to your body as it warms though ...

Might be a bit pricier, but for ultimate collapsibility, comfort, and weight savings would be a latex mattress topper. No off-gassing, no firmness change due to temperature, naturally hypoallergenic and mite-resistant, and maybe a hundred bucks more than a memory foam topper of the same size. Only real considerations would be airing it out if you're in a humid climate, and using some sort of moisture block mattress pad to help keep it dry.

Better yet, perforated latex. Keeps you much cooler vs sleeping on foam. I have 1.5" piece on top of a normal foam mattress, its wonderful.

You guys looking for the air layer under tha mattress might look for homeslicker, its used to create an air space behind siding. might not be as thick as the stuff mentions, only 3/8" or so but should do the same thing.

I need to work on my tent lights here shortly.....

I think I need a bigger truck!
Just did the Hypervent in mine, glad to see Bobby is now supplying something for this. Mine got pretty damp in the cold too... just like that photo. Not anymore!!

Shoe boxes

This thread needs a revival! On thing my wife bought ages ago was folding fabric storage boxes for dressers, so she could sort socks, underwear, or whatever mysterious goods that women feel they need to sort. However, the boxes were slightly too tall to fit in the drawers, and being the packrat I am, kept them just in case. Well this year I grabbed the biggest 2 and use them for in-RTT shoe boxes! Now your shoes can remain inside the RTT at night, no creepy crawlies and they contain the dirt. They fold flat when not in use and thus can stay inside the RTT. The ones I have use a diagonal zipper across the bottom to enable the fold, and I haven't been able to find another set like it. However these ones on Amazon are similar: foldable fabric baskets. The other thing I use a smaller one for is a level spot to keep my contact lens case and contact lens solution bottle upright in the corner. Here is another one from Debco.
