Ended up staying in Moab. Had a great day on the drive from Colorado. Did a bunch of exploring and then hit arches. Did the 4x4 trail there and the truck did great. I was very glad to have the locker because there were a couple sections I couldn't make it up without it engaged. Skid plates came in handy, as did the approach angle...lol. at least one rear mud flap did not survive. Haha

Did you take Salt Valley Road out of Arches NP? How were the conditions? I'll be taking that road on the way out to I-70E.

I did not drive that part...I drove salt valley road inside of arches to the arches 4x4 trail that runs to willow flats. Conditions were fine though. A quick rain/hail storm rolled through while were on it, but I still had no issues with the stock tires.

Good to hear on the conditions. We'll be taking Salt Valley Rd all the way out though. Something quick and easy as the girlfriend doesn't really fancy it all just yet.

Wife had a blast today. I would do the 4x4 trail that connects to Salt Valley Rd....I had to use the locker a few times to get up some sections, but Im still on stock tires/suspension, and did not air down because our pump got packed with movers in error. With better tires and air down you probably wouldnt need it and the trail gets you back in Arches park to see some great stuff. $02We are going to do one or two more "easy" rated trails tomorrow. Ill let you know how it goes.

We'll be heading into ArchesNP around late afternoon/evening and heading down Hwy191 past Moab. We're hoping to camp off of La-Sal Loop Rd at Oowah campground. I'll keep an eye out for your rig if we cross paths.

Rock rashed one of the wheels at Moab >.< damn...its about the size of my pinky finger nail on the machined part of the rim. Oh well. They dont stay new forever. Ill see if the detail shop can get it out.

I'm still alive! Only had time to do a highspeed fire road run which was fun for the girlfriend as I let her drive. She let the truck get tail happy as we went on.

Would have been awesome if we linked up at the same time in Moab, but there's always next time.
