Camper hold-down

Have you thought about which camper hold-down system you will use when you load the camper???> in my op get a truck bed long enough for the 6"8" Northstar.=brian

You're fine - all the short beds are within an inch or so of 6.5'. Maybe Brian's just referring to the super short half ton crew cabs with 5.5' beds???

You should definitely check out the Ram 2500 diesel. Last year they gave the suspension a make over.
Mine has a GVWR of 12500 and the cummins engine runs quiet and strong.
I've never been much of a truck or diesel guy, but I love this truck:)

Terraops, your gvr is that high?, mines a hemi but is only 8800#, I thought you had to go with a 3500 to get that high

No doctorit, 6'5" is the best fit for the NS650. I would not install on any short bed 5' or 5'.5"even with the tailgate in place.=brian

Shopping now. Test drove f150, f250. About to test drive the ram 2500. On looks alone, ram has it hands down.image.jpg
This is a 1500, but love the look.

Yes, ripperj, I drove the 2500 gas. A bit big, but I'd deal with it to have that hot of a truck.
