Thanks, Dave, on both counts. Wish you could've made the BBNP trip. One of these days I'll get to see that sweet FJ of yours.

Additional Modifications:

Well, it’s a little over a year since I started this truck thread, and what a year it’s been.

I finally got around to taking photographs of several of the changes or additions I’ve made.

Here are the new LED worklights from Adventure Trailers (there's one on each side of the back of the roof rack). These are great for working around camp after dark. I have the passenger side one pointed slightly higher so that it points right down on the kitchen side of the AT Horizon trailer. Great for cooking at night and keeping the bugs away from the food.

Laptop for navigation and photography:

Mount for my GPS. The mount is a Pro-Fit mount made specifically for my vehicle. These are generally available for just about any make and model.

Inclinometer. I really miss the professional one that was in my gen II Montero. So, this was the next best thing that I could find. I don’t use it all the time, but whenever I’m in an off-camber situation, I keep my eye on it.

Added another BC fire extinguisher. This one's in front of the driver's seat:

On Board Air system (OBA):

Extreme Outback ExtremeAire + 4 gallon tank

I built this custom box to hold everything, then I covered it in matching carpet. There are two 120mm fans for keeping things cool inside. One is for ventilation and one is for exhaust. After discussing with George at Extreme Outback, we decided that it would be best to have one draw the air in directly over the compressor and one on the other side to quickly pull the hot air out.
