TE630 Husqvarna: The Scout

I have wanted a lightweight adventure motorcycle for local trails and exploration, plus the possible 3-4 day trips into Colorado, Utah, Baja, etc.
Primarily, I want to be able to run all of the local trails in Prescott, just to enjoy exploring my own back yard.

A few shots before the farkling begins.

We picked it up used from a friend, and it is definitely a great performing bike, a big improvement over our previous XR650 and DR650 (Power and suspension performance). The plans are for it to be a light adventurer with an emphasis on trail performance.

What is that?

What is the canister on the right side, in front of the engine? It looks like it would be easy to damage in a fall. No doubt, a lot more HP than my KLR.
You should have lots of fun with this one and we will be expecting some interesting articles about your trips. Are you going to set it up with bags/boxes etc?

Well, there goes the neighborhood... I was happy, not being a member of the "pumpkin" patch, discretely riding around on a bike that not many could identify... Is it a Honda? A red KTM? No, that dork put red and white plastics on a Yamaha! I've heard them all...

Now, that the God King has a Husky, I feel I will be forced into being one of the "cool kids"... People will flock to me, begging for salvation. I will no longer be able to hide in the shadows, I will only ride in the shadow of infamy.
