Thanks Jerry. I may have sold a couple more to some non-Expo folks; took it to a party on Sunday and did potstickers and fried tofu on my friend's back deck.

Beautiful!!! I love doing potstickers! They are so easy and taste great

Very similar to what we here in the SW call a Dísco. For my base I bought a turkey fryer from Hdepot but I dig your green bottle setup.
To season I cooked up some chicharones for my first meal on it. Basically chunks of pork cooked in pork fat. The fat oils soaked all the way thru the metal then just cast iron salt clean method to maintain.

Thanks Guys!

Leaving for the Overland Expo today. I'm looking forward to getting additional feed back on the IGT Skottle Insert.

Well don't sell out because now I need to order the insert, the Skottle and the storage bag!

This is what I was waiting for and now I'm pleasantly surprised. Great work!

what goes under the thing to heat it though ?

Honu, see the scottle in it's "regular" use:

There's a mounting ring that accepts a propane burner (coleman/etc.). Works with 1lb canisters or bulk tanks.

ahhhh thanks :)
somehow I missed that :)
my brain kept thinking it was more like a campchef burner and the thing laid on top ;) now I can see more its like you could use it with the legs or put in the SP thing :)
