Any of you guys know which local Phoenix/East Valley junkyards currently have Gen2 Monteros? I need to replace the transfer case shift lever on my Gen2.5 with one from a Gen2. Hoping to find one in a junkyard.

That first one listed at Car Gurus [located at Wheels In Motion] is very tore up. It's missing most of the center console, you can see where they used something similar to chewing gum to hold some of the other interior pieces in place, the guy wanted to argue with me about whether the tires were still good despite the steel belts clearly visible on the inside edge of one of them. Poor thing, I wanted to rescue it when I looked at it like 5 months ago, but I wouldn't even give them $3K for it as is...

I also went to look at the first one. Its junk. It looks nice enough but I took it to a mechanic to have it looked at. The timing belt is original, there are several oilanic leaks, and there are several bushings and suspension parts that need attention.. Mechanic said its an 800 dollar truck.

I'll send you Ernest's number, that truck isn't worth 3k. Not saying it's a bad rig because I haven't checked it out in person but I'd move on.
