Very cool build! I like how well thought out your plans seem to be. I am interested in your pop top design, it is something I've considered on my Suburban, although it seems extreme to cut a hole in my roof. More likely is to use a setup like yours on a cargo trailer converted to a camper. I have a family of 5 and the pop top would allow for additional bunks up top.
Do you have any more details on the materials used- specifically, what type of extrusion, the sprung lift hinges, and what attachment methods you used for the extrusion to the main structure? The springs seem like a very simple and affordable option as compared to lift struts.
