The Nemo Tacoma - 2008 4x4 Toyota Tacoma Long Bed

It is certainly a very impressive truck.... but it seems to be changing hands frequently, no?

Here is what I know about the ownership history:

- Was build by Cam from Nemo
- Sold to a guy from LA who had it for about a year. Apparently too busy to use it much.
- Bought by a guy in Denton, who had it for a year and used it but it a big Land Rover. Sold it to me as he was working on an LR4 G4 build.
- I bought it in August of 2013. I have taken it on enough adventures to know what I do and dont want. I am about to be going more 'full time' with camping and living out of an RTT for extended periods is a pain (and I want to tow things).

Anyway, I am not dead set on selling it. If I end up keeping it, I will likely either put a pop-up camper in the back or perhaps convert to a flat bed and do the FWC flat bed conversion. The only issue, and one reason for me listing it, is that in order to put a camper in this truck I would have to take the shell, drawers, battery air pump, etc and sell/relocate them. It wouldnt be the end of the world but might be a step backwards with a build like this. And as I have said in previous posts, I just dont need half he off road capabilities this truck has!

Yep, I know John and have seen your truck in person. I know he's a rover nut (he got a disco 2 G4, btw cool truck) and he never made any indication there was ever any problems with the truck. I wasn't suggesting that.

Good luck with the sell its a beautiful truck!

Oh cool - yeah, I knew it was some sort of G4 (as well as having some other really cool vehicles!). Anyway, the truck certainly isnt perfect but it's a solid build and will be good for years to some with regular maintenance.

Update: Pending some details/paperwork/etc, I think this truck will be headed to a new owner as part of a trade deal.

Tentative congratulations, and please be sure to let us know when it's well and truly gone so we can stop pondering how good it would look in our driveways.

So who is getting this thing?! I heard he is going to cut off the front end and slap a d44 under it.....rumor of course.

I saw you Monday afternoon in Dallas at Mockingbird Station. Good looking truck. Hopefully it stays close by.

Yup, I actually work there, so it sits there often - not exactly parking garage friendly.

If you are there in the next week or so I am happy to show it to you. It's headed to get a new steering rack on Monday and then up to Idaho to be traded. So, it wont be local...but it's going to some very capable hands. Think the new owner is planning a blower and a solid front axle in it.

I saw this rig blowing thru Fort Worth a few weeks ago. Great looking truck and good buy for the new owner.
