The not-so-definitive guide to Sienna seats

Alright, I've decided to go with the flanged L-track for recessed mounting. I'm planning to cut strips out of my VanRug to mount the track directly to the metal floor, and then use the edges of the track to conceal and secure the cut edges of the VanRug.

I'm thinking this will give the cleanest, most stable install, and avoid drilling/cutting/punching 100+ holes in the VanRug. Hopefully I can cut the rug accurately and somewhat straight.

I'll be sure to post some pictures when I do it.

Thanks again for all the great help and information in this thread!

Sounds like it'll be super clean. Looking forward to the outcome!

Thanks MG, also thanks again for the sliding door extension I got from you last year. I was finally able to get rid of the factory wheels! Made all the difference in the world.

Awesome! I will send him an email right away. Just want to double check, his address is literally at email.com? I've never seen that domain before.

I got my seats from Roger - good dude, easy to deal with. Dunno if he has any more seats but I bet he does. He is in Battle Creek - I bought my van in Southfield and drove there before heading back east.

I have his phone #, PM me if interested.

I just picked up a pair of gray '15 recliners with the black bases from Roger, heading home to get started on the install.

He still has 2 pairs of recliners in the nice chocolate brown color, which I would have grabbed for sure if they match my van. Somebody should snatch those up quick.

Finally had time to get my Sienna reclining seat installed. Kind of a pain as one track was over the gas tank. Done though.

Thank you! If I get a van, I'm definitely going this route.

Let's do it Chuck. We can make the transition from Cruisers together. I just picked up a 2003, extended body cargo van with a 7.3 PowerStroke van last week. Seats have been ordered. Just waiting on mounts. The work MG has put out is Herculean...

I'm leaning more and more this way. Just did a 4 day road trip in the 100 with the 3 kids in the second row. Let's just say we all could use a little more space!!

Good looking Sienna's with the L-track, well done.
All the Cruiser guys looking for more room know that E-Series are the way to go. ;)

I can't find any of these in Idaho. I'd really like to ditch the stock bench and use these for my girls, they'd be happier and more comfy.
