Getting ready for the ski trip. Finishing the fitting of the Audi seats: arm rest installed, airbag removed. Since it will be 6 of us, the fridge/microwave module is replaced with two captain chairs.

Wow, those seats look great! Need more details on the arm rest, puleaze!! :)
My back hates the Ford seats. I have to drive with a towel rolled up under my lower back. I'll have to start prowling the wrecking yard for Audi seats.

How's that fridge holding up? My super cheap bar fridge is starting to come apart so I'm looking for a more durable option. Thanks!

So far so good. Has not being a year since I installed, but I've been in places already. If there is sun, it can run for days in my driveway non stop. When I travel I do not stop for long periods. Comparing this freezer with the old Igloo dorm fridge, the compressor doesn't make a banging noise over broken roads or obstacles so I assume it has better suspension. So far so good.

Another Christmas in the mountains. Big snow fall was not a big deal for us the day we were leaving except for the Window regulator breaking and dropping the glass. Not fun fixing it with the storm blowing. Luckily I've disassemble those doors so often that I could almost do it blindfolded. A visegrip on the rail took care of keeping the window up.

We hit 250k miles.

The DIY ski rack worked quite well.

I love the Audi seats. Very comfortable and driving 1000+ miles each way, it's nice to be able to micro adjust on the go.

The Rig Runner has a sister. She is a 2012 E350 5.4 biFuel with 134k Miles.
The goal is to have it ready for summer. We will be doing a trip with my brother in-law and his family driving both vans to the West Coast or to Glacier National park. In SEptember one of the two vans will be for sale.
Excited with the Bi-fuel thing. Gasoline and CNG. I'll be happy if I can get an extra 150 or 200 miles range. Hopefully it will not be a nightmare to maintain.
New build up thread coming soon.

4 days weekend at Palo Duro Canyon. MERUS Adventure Park (Link) . Great place too bad it's about 10 hours trip from Houston. If it were less than 4, I'll be there 5 or 6 times a year. Lot of room to explore, not only 4x4 but hiking and mountain biking.

We didn't camp so we have to drive 1 hour each way to a nice cabin. There is nothing close by. It will be great to camp inside the canyon. Little light polution and black skies

On one of the washout crossings, I finally got stuck on my tail. Both rear wheels are in the air. I was able to whing out. The hitch to all the load as intended and got no damage at all.

I never weighted the van before so I stopped at one scale. This is with no driver or passengers, full tank of gas and 8 gal of water in the tanks.

My $75 ski carrier worked great as Jerry can carrier too.

4x4 indicator installed. Not really a great need, but I like having it. It took me awhile to find the indicator. Here it's. I may help someone looking for something like this.

And now a PSA. Do not use aluminum tire valve caps. At least not the ones from Harbor freight. I went to check the pressure on the spare tire. The cap was fused to the stem, ended up breaking the stem and having to replace it. On the plus side, now I know how to do it if it ever happened on the trails. I was able to re-seat the bead with my 6 gal. compressor.

@Raul is this just an on-off functionality on the indicator switch? I’m trying to figure out why my BW1356 switch is not working properly. The Switch works outside the t-case, but blows the fuse when installed on the t-case and switched to 4Lo or 4Hi.

On the NP271 the switch on the transfer has two pins. One goes to ground when on 4Hi and 4Lo and the other grounds on 4Lo
