Can you post a wider angle picture so I can see exactly where you put these?

I do not have a wider photo at the moment, but they are mounted in the middle of the lifting panel. Here is a photo of the lifting panel.

I posted some foam & rubber flooring samples I had picked up in consideration for my build, a foam with a pattern on it might suit you okay. Light, soft, wear resistant, flexible, replaceable.

Thanks for the good ideas. Only problem is with the top hinging up near the middle, so a thick material will not work without a groove cut in it.

Today I started thinking about covering the bench tops with leather. Actually somebody was making fun of me and asked when I was going to put the leather in, and I ended up thinking that might be a good idea. We will see.

AWESOME!

I am proud of you DUDE! I really like how you are making this camper yours.
It's a great feeling isn't it. I like your ideas.
Your camper looks so hugh inside.

About the exterior light. Recently when I camped with a group, I thought the light was going to be a nuisance to everyone that had camped close to me.
But the next morning, all I received was compliments as to how nice it was to have a light turn on when they had the call of nature in the middle of the night and then turn off when the had made it back to bed.
I did put mine on a switch.

Thanks! I am having a fun time putting it together.

How did you wire up the switch for the lights? Did you take the wall apart to get at the wires, or did you grab the red wire running along the front of the camper and run it back to a switch at the back of the camper?

Did you have the Port panel made removable. If so you should be able to trace the wiring to the aft wall. There should be one wire for the porch and side awning lights and another one for the flood lights that should have a switch leg.Chicale marked on the aft wall the location of my sw. leg wires. You might check with him on your wire locations..Good fishin

Thanks. I am going to pull the port wall panel tomorrow and take a look. I also need to decide where I am going to put my ''house'' fuse panel and associated wiring.
