Good to hear you are back man. We thought you may have been abducted. Hope the new bushings helped out cause I am sure that if we hadn't have gotten them replaced, from the number of times you must have open and closed it you would be one strong SOB by now. They were just a wee tad stiff before. I am subscribed and can't wait to hear about the trip. And Welcome Home!
Thanks Brant! Tire carrier worked out sweet after we changed the bushes in it, no more problems. The simple mount you made for my high lift jack also worked out sweet!
Tell Steve his rear bumper is tough as hell. I got rear ended in El Salvador, his bumper and my hitch took the brunt of the hit. Nearly zero damage to my truck, the other car just about totaled! Of course the frame plates helped and I imagine the buffed up rear x-member Jason and me did before the trip helped too.
As far as my write up goes....
I have gone through my journal and notes. I am up to about Feb. 15th as far as my "story" goes. I plan to post my trip in order, grouped by dates. I got a new cell phone on Friday so have all my pics from my phone now. Got some videos uploaded to Youtube and still uploading more. I am still working on organizing pics and getting them uploaded. No idea if or when I will get all the video and pics from my friend that cover our trip from Belize to Panama....without them my "story" is not as good. I won't wait to long for them though and when ready I will just post up my story with or without the pics/video my friend took.
It was a long journey and long trip with many many places I went. In my write up I am making sure I get names right of places and trying to make sure I have good info included such as what it cost to camp or cost for a room and so on and so on.
For those who want to look at videos I have uploaded just go to my Youtube account that is listed in my signature.
