The Ute II: E350 RB 7.3 ZF6

Quote: Cheers! There's something about older BMW's that I love too, back when they still looked like a BMW! I rescued that car from the back of a stuffed shop. It was motor-less, needed a lot of love, and secretly wanted to be a track rat, so I stuffed 6.2L of apple pie up her skirt!

Holy Smokes! That is Sweeeeet!!!!!

OK, back to vans.

Ford OEM Battery holder

Hi Nattery,

I´ve seen you moved the batteries to the frame. You said it is a ford OEM Part:

Do you have any details on that? The OEM Part is from what? Econoline or F Series, which years?

I will need to move mine also, as the space for the optimas is too little (don´t know what kind of batteries are original in an 93 IDI, but there are none standard ones fitting). I not sure how easy is will be to remove these later. If these are needed to load separately e.g. (its winter time coming).

Hi,

thanks guys, for the links/pics.
I think the "self-made" solution above makes the most sense for me. I will probably need to have relatively easy access to them- though connectors must be covered here in Germany.
