I'm sure most of you have seen these. But since no one has posted them here yet:

They live in your power port/cigarette lighter so you never have to look for them and they are always charged. They're pretty bright too. I have 4 of them...

I have one similar. The light isn't real great, but better than no light!:snorkel:

Mine also has a USB port on it, which is nice. But my wife grabbed it for her car, and I haven't seen it since!:Wow1:

Data Loggers

These data loggers are interesting. I ordered one for voltage and another for temp. A good way to record voltages at different points in the system during use.
Can't recommend this brand yet.

Really is clever... I just can't exactly think of what I'd use that for at the moment.

EDIT: Never mind... perhaps I could wire it into the furnace in the camper so that I don't have to get up at night to turn it off (I'm a light sleeper, and the blower is loud... I'd rather be a bit cold than be hearing it)

Maybe an outside light on the truck so you can find it when you stumble, errrr walk back from the campfire?

I'm just curious if it's bright enough to work as a normal flashlight, or just suited as an in-cab flood light?

Several months to maybe a year ago, someone posted about a fridge light that sticks to the underside of the lid, and turns on/off when the lid is opened/closed. Sadly, I can't find the post now. But that definitely belongs here, if anyone else can find it.

I found one this week that I lost at Easter 2010, it was under the seat in my Jeep, turned it on expecting it to be dead flat, works just fine and that's with no additional charge for well over a year!!

Just a note of warning...

I bought a cheap version of that cigarette lighter flashlight. When I got it home I discovered that the instructions said it shouldn't be left in the cigarette lighter for more than two hours at a time. Not meant to be left there full time, which was my intention, so I took it back.
