I just added some Hankook Dynapro Mt tires in a 295 size to my vehicle and was planning a trip to Baja, however because of all the troubles going on in Mexico, my next destination was Utah.
I have been planning a trip to Moab for a while, however I could not get the permit to camp on the Rim. My main interest has always been The White Rim Trail at Canyonlands National Park.
Expedition West had invited me to the Canyonlands back in 9/2004 if I remember correctly, however our timing did not match!

After looking at his pictures I was hooked and Knew I needed to visit!
Now in June 2009 I finally get the permit to camp at Murphy Hogback, this campsite has the best view of them all, evendough the camp by the river is also very nice!
I also mention this trip in another forum and AzTacoma had the same plans and was able to get a permit too at the same campsite, so we desided to meet and do this together.BajaXplorer had not done the White Rim Trail, the last time he wanted to do it he had his dog with him and at the park they do not allowe you to enter with pets even if they stay in the car at all times!
So this was his opportunity to do it.
We got together at the parks information center we went and took some pictures of the Overlooks, found our camp for the night at Horsechief camp ground, and we were ready the next day at 7:30 am to start our adventure!
