I know that there is a KLR forum out there. I'd look it up and poke around. 30k miles seems like a lot for a bike engine, but it may be that these bikes are good for much more than that.

It's down to $500 today. I would not touch that with a ten foot pole.
Growing up in SF and having owned a lot of bikes I try to never buy them in SF. They are always so trashed. I'd hold out for something in better shape.

Save your pennies, this one's a dumpster.

30k is pushing retirement, even on these things... and with that amount of work, definitely not worth it.

Thanks guys. Was wondering if this would be cheap enough to be a 'project' and rebuild it. Doesn't sound worth it so I'll pass.
