STX has the 8" display and vinyl floors.

If you use Google car play, you can use your Phones GPS/WAZE on the 8" display and it smokes the OEM navigation.

We jumped around a bit there. You can delete the carpet on a XLT F-150 if you want.

Ranger does not get the bigger display until you go XLT.

It's a truck, bro. It's supposed to have stains. :ROFLMAO:

Its a truck, it doesn't need wimpy carpet! ?

It will be higher with the Cummins. With my PW, loaded with the FWC Hawk I get between 10-12 mpg. Now, I assume your question to be strictly range on a tank. Not total cost of ownership on the debate issue.

Specific to Ram's, I only see one tank option of 31 gallons (32 gallons with the 8' bed) in either gas or diesel. Seems pretty small to me.

But anyway, given ~13mpg average on the GAS and 17mpg in DIESEL, that's about 400 miles in gas and 527 miles in diesel. So good amount of difference. But if it were me, if that was the only reason for wanting a diesel, I'd just buy the gas engine and get a jerry can or two. How often will you really need that extra range?

One thing I like about the Ford--48 gallon tank available.

2020 Ram long bed is available with 55 gallons. There are aftermarket 50+ gallon replacement tanks available as well.

I think the diesels are getting even better than 17mpg and my buds 6.4L is not getting 13 average.

With a 70% city/30% hwy mix, I see about 17 mpg combined. That jumps to a 20 mpg average at 65 mph on the highway.

I can't speak to the efficiency of the Hemi, but the CTD is fabulous. With the 32 gallon tank, I can go quite far before having to fuel up again.

As a reference point I see 12ish in town with my 37s and stock 3.73s. 17 on the highway without a trailer. Very happy with that. But add in the 5th wheel and I’ll have a bigger tank sooner than I thought.
