tire help!!!!!

hopefully you got that in writing. I guess I might as well chime in here as well. A patched sidewall, like many others have said, is really not the best alternative. Your best bet would be to get a new tire. And before you go on thinking that I'm out to get you too, Im 18 also, full time student, and Im unemployed. I got my last set of tires and rims on craigslist. 4 good condition (50% tread) for $80. Cheaper than buying 1 new tire. Just my 2¢.

A little life lesson, then I'm going to shut up and leave you alone. When you ask a question, and get the same answer from several people with no opposing views, there is a fair chance that the keyboard wheelers answering you might have a clue.

That was my reaction, too.

In life there are times and places to save money, to cut corners. I'd not count fixing tires among them.
