Saw these this week.

Never saw the owner but I wonder if he is just a conscientious guy or was he ticketed for tires past the fender...

Or he just prefers full coverage.

You cannot even drive with the windows down on wet blacktop in the old TJs without getting a bath if you had ANY tire beyond the flares.
I too prefer full coverage. Keeps the vehicle cleaner, and provides a bit more body protection.

I have 235/85/16s on my Yukon, on stock wheels, and they fling mud like nothing else down the side of my truck. I need to get some flares.
