Looking for some ideas on organizing toiletries, I've tried several items from plain old ziplocs, to fancier organizers.
Does anyone have the "the near perfect" solution ????
We have an Eagle Creek organizer that zips. I love it because it also has a hanger on it so that we can hang it from the back door, the roll cage, or a partially rolled down window. (also the towel bar in a hotel) We used it everyday for 9 months in Africa and it still looks like new. I think this is a newer version of the one we have http://www.eaglecreek.com/accessories/packing_toiletry_kits/Pack-It-Wallaby-II-40136/ but they come in several sizes.
I've been using the Victorinox toiletry bag for quite awhile and have been happy with it. It carries full size bottles and has just enough capacity for me. It can have a small footprint if stood upright against something. The main compartment zipper is very easy to open/close with it's dual zippers (maybe good for somebody who wears contact lenses). The large carrying handle can be used to hang it. Large zippers too.
These are what we switched to a few years ago, we each have our own and a small one for first aid stuff and it's been great. The ability to hang your goodies and keep them sanitary in even the most questionable shower areas is the pay off. I can't believe how easy it has been to find somewhere to hang it......
