Towing with U-HAUL Auto Transporter

Unless Penske and Ryder have recently changed their policies the only way they will rent an auto transport trailer to you is you must also rent their truck to pull their trailer.

2200lbs doesn't seem heavy to me at all for a car hauler. My tilt deck car/equipment hauler weighs double that.

Most similar sized other car trailers I've seen are in the 1700 - 2000 lb range, so the 2200 - 2300 the Uhaul units weigh is a bit on the heavy side. Not totally insane, but it's up there. Equipment haulers tend to be heavier, as they often carry stuff heavier than a car.
