Yeah, my accelerated wear is due to the twisties that I drive on and the weight of the truck.I have 22k on my 245/75r16s of the Toyo OC AT-II and they still have a TON of tread left on them. My Pathfinder is probably roughly 4150lbs average running weight, and I've rotated and balanced them very frequently, and kept it in alignment. Not sure on tread depth, but it's still very substantial, and I should have no issue getting 40-50k out of them.
Mine stay quiet; I wouldn't know it was time to rotate if I didn't keep a log. Both to bump this thread and as a legitimate question-
When your tires are in need of a rotate and balance do they start to make noise?
I've noticed any time I do suspension work and it's in need of a balance and rotation, the Toyos start howling like old mud tires. Anyone else experience this?
I wish they made the Xtreme in 255/80-17.
I traded the PW for a Jeep and just shod it with Cooper ST-Maxx. Only two tires in that size...
3-sets of Toyo AT's (2-AT, 1-AT2; 285/75R18) and never had any that "howled like mud tires"...
