OK fellas, how's the tires holding up?
They're not going to make it anywhere near the 50,000 mile treadlife warranty.
I think they prorate based on how far short you fall. I'll try to find out from my friend at Discount Tire how low you have to take them and what the deal is.

They've been great on the road, decent in the mud, and just fine in snow. A good all-around tire.

Wide variety of vehicles to warranty with similar tires. Mine weighs 8650# w/wet camper, no occupants. That same 285-75-17 on an F-150 will outlast mine obviously. I bought my old Toyo AT's from a friend with 21K unmaintained miles. Never rebalanced or rotated. I got another 14K out of them. Prior owner had the same truck with a hardsided camper on it.
I love these AT2's so far.
Balancing required a whopping .50 oz up to 2.50 oz.
Compare that to a minimum of 4 ozs. and max of 11 ozs on my 285-70-16 BFG KO's on the '98.5. With Roadforce they would zero out but still produced vibes.
Discount would not replace them.
Jump ahead to Toyo M-55's and issues resolved.

Same experience here: 4/32" wear (17/32" new tread depth stated by Toyo...I didn't actually measure mine when new) in 4,956 miles (makes them no better than my previous experience with same size/same rig for original OC AT). 285/75R18 and roughly 8,000lbs of payload. Unless this tire is constructed with a dual density tread I'll be exercising the tread wear guarantee.

I lost a treadblock somewhere in Colorado but I'm carrying a heavy load and I was on some pretty rough trails.

Other than that, they've been great over the last 5,000 miles on rainy pavement, highway speeds, dirt roads and rocky trails.

I have about 14,000 miles on mine and they have been holding up excellently- I have rotated them and balanced them, and the tread wear is miniscule. Of course my rig is only about 4500# but nonetheless, I would say they are doing exceptionally well. They pull well through mud, stick to rock, clear out stones on two tracks with aplomb, and do relatively well in sand. On road they are nearly silent, shed water well, have good grip with no surprises, and I have had them up to 105 mph with no issue. I still say they are an excellent tire. No regrets :sombrero:

In for the duration now! I just ordered 285/75-17s for the JKUR. I'll pick them up when we are back in Oregon in two weeks.

Just rotated them again. A little over 15K miles and the lowest tire is at 9/32". I'm guessing they might make it to 25K miles.

Document your rotation and rebalances. The vendor should prorate them. Mine seem to be doing fine and my rig weighs 8650#. Prior to these I had Toyo MT's. Sold them to a friend as I wanted a much quieter tire. They had 11/32" @ 19K.
