Sliders on. Passenger side was waaaay easier than driver side, but didn’t drop them on myself even once.

Man what a nice truck. Have always wanted a PW. Almost bought one in 2016- I don't think the dealer knew that it was a PW because it was listed at 38k and the dealers words were "Oh that's strange it comes with a winch?". Luckily I didn't get it because I lost my job a few days after test driving it.

RCI cap looks killer on a PW too.

When I bought my 2014 I could have picked up a 2016 PW tradesman new for 7k more than what I was paying used.. still regretting that one. Oh well, live and learn I guess.

Been a while since I updated anything.

Today I built a rack for the table. Details are in a post in Storage Solutions.

Test trip next week prior to expo west.

I also got around to fixing some small irritations on my booty-fab fridge slide. I was using a pin to lock it shut, swapped it for toggle latches, and also improved how it stays shut when not in use (so it doesn’t bounce). I also re drilled the mounts so it sits about a 1/2” closer to the driver side (every I little bit of room counts..). Finally one of the drawer slides didn’t sit right and it was making my OCD twitchy.

After the 106 degree weather at the lake, the cool air, altitude and pondos are a welcome change. However it is hard to not miss this view ..

Haven’t updated in a while.. Been busy so no overnight trips. Went and played in the desert a little though

Expo west made the wife bring up the “what if we got a dual zone fridge”

This lead to a monster fridge that took up a lot of room on top of the decked..

So I decided to build my own storage.

Still have to finish up the side compartments, and put a platform over the fridge for storage, but progress was made

Been a while..

Managed to make a little progress on the back. Trips coming up in November so guess I should finish..

Added a “built from scrap fridge shelf” and a 15 gal water container. The water will be plumbed to a faucet at the back of the box








Also worked on the inside of the drawer. Moveable dividers and a coffee table-hinged lid for storage/cooking.




Relocated my inside the shell roof mounted table
To face the tailgate.. not 100% sure that’s the best orientation but giving it a whirl. Want to have the traction boards next to them but still messing with simple mounting solutions

Over a month and no one asks?

After exploring rim country in the rain the previous evening, the truck just went *click* in the morning. Figured the hot to cold temps nuked the battery, but wound up being the starter. Fortunately we had y started the backcountry portion of the trip and it was a hundred yards away from a local shop.
