I'm planning out my build for my rack on my 5X8 utility trialer for my RTT. I just got a Smittybilt Overlander XL gen 2 and I am going to get an annex for it. Smittybilt says the recommend tent height for the annex is 84" off of the ground. But it will work at anything between 48" - 84" . For those of you that use the annex with the Smittybilt Overlander XL gen 2, I am curious as to how high your tent is?
Also, since the tent is 4' wide when closed and the rack is going to be just over 5' wide, will it be alright to have the edge of the tent at the edge of the rack so the back of the annex will be straight up and down when attached or is that not needed?
