well i figured a few things out. first the plastic bushing clips sold online only bushingsfix. The dealer shows it as part of the cable system itself so like 120 bucks plus the cost of labor, for a 2.99 bushing clip? The dealer has no appointment for 1and1/2 weeks and can't find the bushing by itself, only as part of the cable that links the trans shifter tot the trans> The end that connects the cable tot he shifter, the opposite end is a 2.95 part and is sold separately. it is a different bushing ( why not put the same bushing on each end, the ends of the cable are almost identical).yeah the whole thing is a PITA so i am waiting for my 24.99 bushing form the east coast while my jeep is undriveable because the dealer can't fit me in??? and I couldn't find a bushing at any car parts place that was close. so Looked at the jeep site to build one just screwing around and it is over 50K for a hard rock 4 dr rubicon>OVER 50K!! ******. Agues in world where the choices for president are what they are it makes some sort of weird twisted sense . oh and by the way that hard rock comes with 373 gears ******?
