My wife and myself are interested. I also have a certified trainer living across the street. I will talk to him this weekend and see if he would be interested in teaching. Would'nt a weekend in Palm Springs would be nice!

Who else in SOCAL is interested? Let me know.

Palm Springs in the Fall/Winter is just fine by me! I have a few prior commitments over the next couple of months, but should be able to attend the class with a long enough lead time. Thanks for checking into this.

Hi Windy - Jonathan can certify you, and he says if there are some folks out there (does not need to be 10) in AZ who want to do it, we could organize something down here in Tucson.

It would have to be December though!

How soon do you need it?

I'd like to join in on this if I may. I happen to be able to come to Tucson in the first half of December. Let me know the details, please.

Cheers,

Great! It looks like we have quite a bit of interest. Let's see what Jonathon's schedule is and then we can post an official date/meeting place.

I'd be delighted to do this. Let's aim for early to mid-December out at our place, then we could do a drive afterward. I'll check with the TL folks and look at some dates.

I too would like to attend, any idea on cost? We wont be back from our cruise until the 9th, so, the second weekend would work out better.

These are usually provided no-charge to the participants.

More soon from Jonathan - he's up to his ears in editing the Winter Overland Journal . . .

Great suggestion! By the way, if anyone in the Texas area is interested in this, we are planning on hosting a trainer certification course in early March 2008 near San Antonio. More to be posted once I have the details from Tread Lightly to share.

Not to distract Jonathan from editing the Overland Journal crack pipe, er magazine...:safari-rig:

But, any word on when this might be? I'm trying to nail down some dates, so I can reserve a spot at Kartchner Caverns and figure out the rest of my schedule.

Thanks,

I'd like to get this certification at some point too. :)
