Greetings everyone! I'd to introduce myself and my new business- Trekboxx. We are designing and manufacturing top-tier cargo and drawer systems. Our first 2 models are now available for the 100 series. Check out our website at www.trekboxx.com for all the specs. I've been a lurker here for quite a long time, and only recently a vendor. I've also been active on ih8mud. I've kicked off the business with a group buy, you can find it here:

I'd like to extend the group buy to the expo members. Feel free to ask any questions or bring up any concerns here. If you'd like some more history/reading on how I got started, here are a couple of threads that may interest you:

TrekboxX,

Those look awesome! Best design I've seen yet. Looks like you took the best features of the ARB system and the best features of the Adventure Trailers system and combined them into a unique design with your own ideas. I have not been able to pull the trigger on a drawer system till now. This is exactly what I need. How long before they are available for the 200 series? I'll be your first customer when they are ready. I'll take the system alpha with all the options and the planned flat insert for the fridge drawer. Let me know, I can be you beta tester for the 200.

Thanks guys! Craig- I've been notoriously optimistic so far with the timing of this biz. I really thought we'd be open last fall! Anyways, I expect this group buy to take up my time for a short while, but I will have some breaks during manufacturing. I plan to use the time to pattern and design for the 80 and 200 series, and other models depending on available timing. Now that the concept is proven, new models should go fairly quickly. I'll put you on the 200 series list and keep you updated.

The LC doesn't notice a couple hundred pounds. Besides, unless you're spending $$$ on some fancy aluminum or composite design, the quality and robustness require a bit of weight.

Congrats, looks like a really nice system. I notice your website lists Jeep JK as under development. I'm salivating for a jeep version of System Alpha!

not questioning the design or robustness still 209lbs extra on the suspention bearing ,more weight will generat more heat ,fuel echonomy etc,you have to take into consideration long trips not a weekend thing .
i am sorry i do not want to sound negative but curently in the market for one and i am debating on the weight issue.

Sure, weight is always a consideration. It's just been my experience that many folks don't blink at 400 lbs in tires, 200 lb bumpers, winches, roof racks, super heavy rooftop tents, etc, but with a drawer or cargo setup 50 lbs heavier than the next guy is hard to swallow. Maybe it's because they're just not as sexy!
