If you recall, what is the issue with needing to use the Tacoma top spacer on this setup? I am preparing to do the same to my 4Runner and have a set of stock 4x4 Tundra coilover's already together. The bolt spacing is identical to the 4Runner, so I'm curious.

All I've been able to find is you need the Taco/Runner top plate but no explanations.

Here are some pics, I will try and get some up of the new truck box, tire carrier, and axe/shovel mounted up. I also traded the shackles out for add-a-leaf's in the rear to carry the extra weight back there. Let's see how long the stock springs hold up...

looks awesome, are those 35s or 33s? im running the same setup up front except i have 1 set of top out spacers, my friend who goes to virginia tech just put his 3rd set of top outs on his tundra coils (kinda insane) curious to see that setup,

i've might of miss read this but, the way i've heard this done is that they used both the coils and struts from the tundra with a top out from soronan steel and got about 2.75".
so correct me if im wrong but you used the tacoma coils with the tundra struts? just currious because i was thinking about going with this setup.

I used the whole Tundra setup, all you have to do is swap out the top plate from your stock Tacoma struts because the Tundra bolt pattern on top is to big. The three bolts won't line up. Then just add a 2" Tacoma lift spacer from www.extremetrucktoys.com which is only a 1" thick spacer and gave me my lift plus it rides like a stock set of struts.
