Here's my 02 SR5 AC. 110,000 miles. Had the frame replaced last summer and working on replacing the rusty rear axle with an LSD unit out of a DC in the next week or so.

Eview, thats nice. Clean, simple, functional. Lift attained from 5100's?

Edit: No, that looks too tall for 5100's only. What are you using?

They are 5100's! Top notch up front. AAL and 1" block out back. Thinking about switching out the stock front springs on top notch to OME 885's on a lower notch for a better ride...

I do love the stance though its got. Clean look is what I'm after

Sweet ride, Eview!
LOVE the Satoshi grille...thats just about exactly how I've been wanting to do mine ever since I got my '00. I've only seen a couple that way, so its nice to see some pics, and from the correct angles, on what it'll look like. What Toyota emblem did you use?

Just out of curiosity, ave you measured your lift, from center of wheel hubs to bottom lip of flare? I'm running 885s on 5100s on 2nd notch.

What size tires? those look a little skinny to be the popular 285's every one seems to run.

My 02 Tundra enjoying spring break. I should start a build thread one of these days because it wears a custom totally re-built FWC during the summer.

Great looking truck. What bumper is that? What size tires are you running? What kind of lift is under there? Those wheels look like either ProComp 7069 or the Mickey Thompson ones... you guys need details when you have an awesome truck!

The pics with the camper are from last fall, I hit a deer last summer and toasted the stock front bumper :( That is what made me decide to build a custom bumper. I have an old 79 Toyota that I have been practicing my fabrication and wrenching skills on for the past couple years and felt confident I could make a nice bumper for the tundra. I'll hopefully add some round tubing to protect the grill and headlights this summer. Tires and suspension are the same in all the pics above, only thing I changed was the wheels and front bumper.

I purchased my Tundra in the spring of 2010 with 120k miles totally stock. This is what I have done on the outside...
5100s up front set at 2nd notch down with stock TRD coils (hope to change out to OME 885 soon and keep about the same height)
5100s in the back with Toytech AAL (would like to replace springs all together, wish OME made them for this truck, maybe will go with Alcan since they are CO based)
Wheels are Pro Comp 7069-6883 16x8 with 4" backspace (I like the slightly wider stance)
Tires are 265/75 Nitto Terra Grapplers
Bumper and topper rack are fabricated by me.

I haven't measured it but I will. They are 285/70/18 DuraTrac's on 18" BBS's.

How do you like the 885's? My truck rides stiff up front which is why I'm thinking of swapping out the stock springs for them.

I forget what emblem it is too. Pretty sure it's an fj emblem.. $40 or so off eBay. I painted it body color along with the grill surround. It's not perfect but I definitely love the satoshi look better than anything else out there

Nice job with the custom bumper! I wish I could find someone to build me a front and back bumper for my Tundra. I might go with the ARB bumper in the meantime. Ride height looks great with the 5100s up front set at 2nd notch down. Did you notice much sag when you put the bumper on? I should be going the same route with my lift. I'm also debating the 885 coils instead of using the stock ones. I like a soft ride though. Really like the wheel choice i think you've convinced me on the procomps. Thanks for the extra pics.

You guys might want to also look at the 884s. The 884s are a replacement stock length spring. The 885s add about 2" lift by themselves. If you are going 5100s, you can get 2.5" off them by themselves. You dont want to go any higher than 2.5" total, and no more than 3" with aftermarket UCAs. I dont remember what stock spring rates are, but the 884/885s are both 590lb.

I chose 885s, because I knew I wanted to push 3" and go with Total Chaos or Camburg UCAs, and wasnt sure at the time whether I could even get a full 2.5" out of the 5100s alone. So I have 5100s set, IIRC, 2nd notch (.65") from the bottom, with the 885s on top, and I'm sitting around 2 3/4" total. I havent driven the truck since I installed them, so I cant say how the ride feels, or how much they will settle. If they dont settle, I will go one more notch up on the 5100s (1.35")...If they DO settle, I may even go up two notches.

But again, if you're not going past 2.5" and NOT installing new UCAs, and NOT ever gonna install a heavy bumper or winch, then the 884s might be what you guys want.

I would want to keep it at around 2.5" and not planning on a bumper or winch. But my thought on going with the 885's was to keep them at the bottom position of the 5100's for a better ride rather than having them up a notch or two and compressed somewhat. Let me know how those 885's ride in your truck I'm very curious as to how they compare to stock.

Did a little work on my truck on my days off. Replaced the outter tie rod ends and lower balljoints. As well replaced my Icon's with my 5100's and OME 885 springs. Love the ride so much more and suits my needs more than the Icons. Also replaced my Cooper STMaxx tires with Mickey Thompson MTZ with the same size 265/75/16. I'll try and get more photo's once the rain stops which might be some time next week! Big storms coming finally! Here is some pics.....

Got the same brand for my lower balljoints. All bought from RockAuto!

This tool saved my butt. To all Tundra owners who plan on replacing their LBJ get this pitman Puller tool. It fits perfect to pop the LBJ out.

With the 885 springs and setting the 5100's on the second notch from the bottom, it netted me around 3 inches of lift. I love the way it sits and rides, I highly recommend 5100's and OME for 1st Gen Tundra's!

Looks like Derek24 has done just that. He says he gets a full 3 inches out of them on the second to bottom setting. I'm in the same boat, I want to lift my truck up front to 2.5 and add an inch in the back with ALL. I want to go with the Bilsteins but I'm afraid if I lift it to 2.5" with stock coils the ride will be a bit harder. Softer the better for me.

Derek is running camburg upper control arms though so 3 inches isn't a big deal. For us with stock upper control arms that's not possible. I had a terrible time with my camburgs on my last tundra. It was so hard keeping their balls clean. I would always have squeaking up front in the heim joint. I really don't want to go through that again.

So Derek the setup you have, would you say the suspension upfront is harder after putting the 885 coils?
