Very nice rig. I love the OEM Steel wheels look, very clean and functional. Oh and those yellow fogs are straight-up JDM style. Really like the look!

Thanks! I opted to keep the OEM steelies bc I'm just not a fan of 99% of the aftermarket wheels out there. They all look too bro-tastic for me. In fact if I ever meet the guy who invented the silver/black alternating combo, I want to punch him in the face for doing such a terrible dis-service to society. Haha Never thought about the JDM thing. I used to have a Honda Accord back in the day that was all "JDM'ed" out so I guess that's where I got that from subconsciously. I did the same thing on my old Taco too. I also did the fogs on my wife's T4R when I did the Tundra.

What suspension is that?

It's the toytec boss kit. Rides really nice. It's set from toytec so probably 2inch of lift. The kit uses OME 862 rear springs from a 100 series landcruiser. And yes we need to add big trees in here. They are just a tundra with a welded on campershell!

I'll add to the Big Tree category:

Hey guys, quick question for y'all. I have a good friend that needs new shocks on his 05 DC and wants to know if he needs anything other than the height adjustable Bilsteins up front to level his truck

He doesn't want to spend a lot of money but will go with stock height shocks if that's a better option for him.

I have the OME shocks and coils and I'm into it about a grand and it's amazing but he doesn't want to spend that on his truck

I am going to text him a link to this as I am heading out of town to hunt for the next month or so

Thanks!

He can lift it with just the bilsteins. Or he could go with stock shocks and a spacer lift. Or he could spend more money......

The adjustable Bilsteins will do the job on their own. The front struts are usually within $5 of the direct TRD replacements (4600s). The rears are a couple $$ more- $30 difference for the whole thing.
