Your 00 AC was one of the reasons I looked for my utility shell. I saw a couple of pictures of it and liked the way it looked from the get go.

Cool. That was a great set-up for us to travel/explore and camp in. The lesson learned for me was that I should've found an aluminum or possibly fiberglass utility canopy vs the steel. It started to grow rust in several places (interior and exterior) due to the constant abuse of the PacNW weather.
BTW very stout '00 TBird you've got there.

Thanks. Mine is all aluminum. I think it was actually lighter than my previous fiberglass shell. Here's how it sits right now:

Here's some added LED lights in the shell:

WOW- that camper is all lit up.

Bit bummed today- tried to order windoor conversion for my Leer 100xl shell but the mfg said no go. Existing windows are too big for a conversion. Local dealer made me a deal and now getting a brand new ARE shell with vented windoors & front slider for $300 more than the windoor conversion was going to be. That plus my existing shell of course.

Long run it will be worth it.

Wish I had windors on my shell. My brother has them on his Taco and they work great for loading and unloading items by the cab!
