WOW, this is insane. Makes my little spring over build look stupid. ha ha! I am not taking it on hard core trails, just want some extra height on the trailer to maneuver around some rocks and stuff on our trails. Quick question, I have a pair of pro comp ES 1000 shocks from a previous build. will they smooth out the ride of my pop up any? I would have to angle them pretty good I guess, But would it be benifical to put them in my build?

I would say that depends on the weight of the trailer?

My trailer is 2700 lbs I think.....I would have to double check, i may goto the commercial scale and tow it on and see what I get.

All the airline fittings have been ordered on monday. Just doing a temp setup till I can buy a complete system. Saturday I will have the tent trailer prepped and spring hangers cut off. Monday hopefully camper mounted!

Big step today! I got my airlines and electric brake wires semi installed. Cut all the original suspension out and trimmed the front cross member for the subframe.

Next was able to slide the new subframe and suspension in.

Besides a few spots on the crossmember that i had to grind down it fits perfect!!!!

Dont worry about the 7 pin and airlines hangin down that will get fixed😀
Have to work tomorrow, so mondays plan is to make connecting plates for the frame, mount the winch, wire the brakes, mount the air fitting, install tires, etc etc etc etc

Got quite a bit done today! I added frame tie in's for the subframe/original frame. Fully welded the subframe and just one side of the original untill I test drive it

Everyones favorite part! Put the tires on! Check for clearences all over. Travel, full bump, inner fender, outer fender distance, and its perfect!
Here is rough ride height

Here is full bump or campsite height

Mounted the airlines for now. Going to eventually get a air system that I can have a highway setting, offroad, than camp setup.
Oh my old trailer made a visit today!

Still have to build a rear bumper setup. Cut the handles off and welded on nuts so I can just use a impact drill.
Bought the front jack yet to officially install it.

Trailer hitch was ordered this morning. Hopefully this coming week I will get a test run in!

I think I need a bigger truck!
Its coming along nicely... good work.

I cut the handles off of my jacks as well, welded on lug nuts that match my Jeep. BEST idea ever.
