One off the lift, one goes on! Next up is a DeQuiglification. Then we yank the body for an extensive 6.0 upgrade. I'll post pics of course.

1st step, yank this stuff out. Good ol Dana 50. Lots to cut. if the Q van has a 99-04 axle in it we generally try to re use it to save $$. If its the earlier kingpin style or the later model that uses the 05/up F series axle its best to sell it all complete and use a new axle.

Some cutting needs to be done here too....

that's interesting to see, as i will have- after months of issues due to import- a Quigley hopefully soon. If this is the right kind of rig for me, i will still be trying to convert.
It it's a 1993 so, when i get you right, no option to keep anything of the axle? not sad due to the old brakes but expensive of course. Even more as you cannot get junk yards parts here.
With an 8" lift you don't cut anything of the cross member, right? Same leaf springs as the 6" plus 2" spacer or the new progressive ones? when you think of speeds at 70-80mp/h as standards on highway, what's you suggestion?
Are the Q drive shafts still able to use, when the car it's lifted 8" (and you move the axle additionally 2" to the front)? I would guess the one at the front is too short.

Customer in FL told me a long time ago he was doing this, I thought he was nuts! Well, he is! It floats! This pic was after the test session, he's now fabricating the floats out of aluminum. Pretty damn cool.....

What are the plans for the Bronco?

Coyote 5.0 swap, new 4R75 tranny, Atlas II, Pro Rock 60 F, Pro 60 rear, both stuffed with 4.56's and True Tracs, custom 4 link front with some 9100's. Low on 37's is the plan! Hopefully I can talk him into a new bumper too...... :)

Yes, it's been done many times.

Believe it or not there was quite a bit of room in there with cummins once we had the correct exhaust manifold.
