Hey Chris, when you work up that quote for the guy from Parker, Colorado be sure to include my commission! I camped with those guys at Green River, Utah. They offered me 30k for my van. I told em it wasn't for sale and gave them your name.

Ha, thanks! We'll see what happens. Not sure if I've heard anything yet.

:wings:
Finally! Now let's hope the industry follows

Yea don't hold your breathe on that one.

A 50" Rigid light bar is damn handy in BFE.

I won't deny that however the SEMA style builds which simply focus on how many light bars they can bolt to a vehicle are getting stupid

Anyways I'm done messing up Chris's thread with my light bar rant :friday:

Ugh. Those trucks make me sick to my stomach. I hope my kids can grow up in a non bro truck environment.

Trucks like that are precisely why the light bar I bought a few months ago is hiding in a corner of the shop!

The modern day versions of the multi-tube roll bars of the early 80's. if 1 tube is good 4 must be freakin awesome! Oh, and seeing how many shocks you could stuff, well, anywhere you could stuff them.

Seriously though, I've wheeled my junk from California to northern Maine and have NEVER wished for anything more than my headlights. Can't see dumping the cash some of those lights require.

Police are cracking down on LED bars here because too many jack donkeys are not dimming them for oncoming traffic. I reused my PIAA 520s instead of getting an LED bar. Both sets are relayed with my high beams so when I kill the brights, they turn off too. Out regulations say that a vehicle can have (additional to the stock headlights) one set of foul weather lamps AND one set of driving lamps. I technically could be required to cover one set of the driving lights, but over the last decade I have never been cited because I'm not a richard. The LED bars can have up to 100 chips/bulbs (54" dual row bar).

Used to be if you flipped on 6 lights your truck would stall. At least mine did. But it was a Land Rover, so...

Exactly, these people that are running them all the time are going to ruin it for everyone. I stopped a kid earlier this year and told him to turn his lights off. Said he didn't know it was on. Yea, ok sure buddy. We all know you think that your chinese light bar is so super cool! Well, its not. Stop blinding people.

Chris, I know you are super busy.. but I had an epiphany when on Ford build and price - I hadn't realized that you could still get cab/chassis E series. Is V4 a 138 wb with a 1foot cab back & 10 foot bed?? I recall reading that originally but have forgotten since then

Some sort of lost...
Haha I saw an old beat up Jetta driving down the road this morning with a cheapo 20" bar zip tied to the crooked front bumper. The day before, a 40" cheapie bolted on the hood of a rusty 30 year old ford ranger.

Certainly takes the cool away from something.

Oh yes, you can still get them! With the 6.2 becoming available I may have to go sign papers for one. Your specs for V4 are 100% correct.
