Cool rig and I love the wheels! OK, so I'm old school and like a little 'Bling' on my vehicles vs. boring flat black rims! :agree:

Enjoy the long weekend Chris, and have a great 4th of July! waveFlag.gif

I've already been on the phone this morning and now I'm here so my break lasted less than 12 hours! Call me if you need to.

I like them too! Maybe polished & chrome will make a come back!

Ha, sorry! You can see I've already given in.

I'd have to say no to chrome... especially over aluminum alloy.

I'm good with polished. Although for 4x4s my first choice for 4x4s is steelies that can be fixed with a big hammer if bent up on the rocks.

I don't think he was suggesting anyone chrome plate an aluminum alloy wheel. He was merely suggesting that "chrome plated steel wheels, and polished aluminum wheels" may become popular again, like they were in the 70's and 80's.

I like chrome or polished on some rigs. If you keep the chrome grille and bumpers it ties them together nicely.

Nice ride in the woods today to a gorgeous spot overlooking Lake Jocassee in upstate SC. Easy road, no 4wd, nice drive.

Chris, which clappers are those and what would be the minimum size wheel to use that brake setup?
Thanks
