Wish there was an upgrade for the front brakes on a 2006 SMB with a Dynatrac axle. Have yet to find anything. The 2008 and newer SMB's have larger F550 brakes on them. I haven't checked with Dynatrac. I'm sure they could build a new custom axle to fit my 2006 with F550 brakes for a ton of money.

Are different brackets needed to fit the 08+ caliper to the 99-04 F-250 axles? And do I need 18"+ wheels, or can I roll with a set of 17's with 4.5" backspacing?

I've tried and done a ton of digging to make that happen, nothing works. The setup on the left in this pic (our RSC upgrade) is the same stuff that is on the 08/up SMBs.

We have a "blem" front bumper available for a nice discount. This was our 1st FB002, nothing wrong with it besides some ugly welds and extra plating around the D rings. $1200 plus freight.

That's what I was asking. Sorry if it came out different than what I was trying to say.

Will the bigger rotors fit in a 17" wheel? Or do I need to go with 18"? I don't wanna buy the smaller wheel and end up having to get the larger diameter wheel later.

Sorry for asking all the questions, but I'm getting a axle next week for the leaf spring conversion.

Ah. They don't. The RSC upgrade has Dynatrac knuckles that are cast to take the 08/up E series caliper and the whole package fits in a 17" wheel.

No motorcycles for me! The temptation is real though.
