Low mileage 7.3 cargo with our 4" kit on 33s. Nice & simple!

Our new side steps are ready for production! All aluminum, beefy mounts. These are NOT sliders, they steps that mount to the body/pinch welds. Price is $895 plus freight for the pair, I'll post more pics and some video of them being used.

Chris,
Hope this is ok to post here..
Searching for my donor axles, “local” yard has two 2003, one in 3.73 and one in 4.10.

trying to spread cost out so I was planning to just refresh the axles and not regear right away.

van is 03’ 7.3l, plan is 6” on 35’s. main use will be highway trips towing 5k# camper.
I’m assuming I would be better off with the 4.10? Asking because I see a lot of the builds using 4.56/4.88, seems high but I’m new to this.
Thanks in advance

Yes, get the 4.10 for sure. For 35s with towing I would go 4.567 but 4.10 will do the job. Get an EGT and trans temp gauge to monitor temps.

Okay sounds good. I’ve read that your kit works with the 99-04’ f250/350 front Dana60 but that you use the 02-04’ for the axles you build. What is the advantage to those years?

We stick to the 02-04s because they're all Dana 60s. From 99-01 everything is a Dana 50 unless it was under a DRW truck. Most yards only specify it as an "axle" so the price is usually the same. D50s are actually more $$ to build too.

Both van camps this fall were WET! That's the gamble we take! Still had a great time and so did the kids.

Looks like some great rigs in those shots. Also a great time.

I would love more info on the collapsible trailer, ie how it moves up and down, how it seals in each position, how it is raised and lowered, etc. I am thinking about building something similar.

Thanks for the replies Chris! It ended up that the truck with 4.10’s was in the yard because it hit a Telephone pole head on.... So I’m gonna keep searching!
