Ujoint, Are you on Long Island visiting by any chance? If not your van's stunt double was in Centereach on Middle Country Road this past weekend.
Not on the Island! Like Steve said, far far away. Hope you guys are OK up there, got a video from my uncle today and it was nuts.
Damn that looks awesome.
What kind of MPG does a setup like this net?
We drove from Grass Valley to Vegas and saw 15-17mpg.
It's been a LONG week! We left NC Tuesday afternoon and drove until we lost the vaccum pump in St Louis. Kept going another 200 miles or so before I decided that a complete failure wouldn't be a good thing in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere. Stopped in MO for the night, sourced a pump in the AM, swapped it in an O'Riellys parking lot and kept on trucking. I was checking the weather and expected some snow once we got to Denver, but it came early and came down hard! I could barely see 3 feet in front of the van, it was a struggle to see a line in the road to follow. Made it to the 1st rest stop that we could to wait it out. Once it calmed down we continued to Denver. Took a few hours!
The next morning we continued (behind schedule) and headed west. This would be a long day. We made it all the way to Reno, about 85 miles short of Grass Valley. Rigid power!
We arrived at XP the next morning, ready to help finish the camper. Full crew and my buddy Jamie came up to lend a helping hand. Full throttle for 2 days and we were mounted up!
Its amazing how spacious this camper is when its up!
No rest yet....... went to bed @ 10, up at 3 to get on the road to Vegas!
And here we are! Setup in Vegas, stickers in place and ready to show off the rig. Its been one heck of a journey and so far people seem to like it! More pics soon as we get out and use it in its natural environment
