For a DoKa setup, why not just start with an F350 crew-cab, remove the bed, get a custom aluminum deck, put the XP on and go?
I don't know if I missed it... but can someone post the final dimensions? Height, Width, Length, break over angles, etc…
And cost invested to build?

Also, for me at least, there's some great attraction to the more 'cab-forward' posture of the van body (than that of the truck cab) ... plus, let's be honest, there's something about the uniqueness that's seriously attractive, as well.
Also, Chris, if you pass through Denver on your way back to the East Coast ... and assuming the trip back is a bit more leisurely than the trip out, I'd love to take a look at this thing in person if you're willing to show it off.

I saw this thing in person today and all I can say is Congratulations to Chris and the UJOR team and XP Camper for making this happen.
All I can keep saying to distract me from it is....
I love my van. I love my van. I love my van. I love my van.
Ok, thx for the info. I'm not privy to those important differences between van and truck. That would be the NORMAL solution. There is not nearly as much under-bed storage with that solution. No way to have pass-throughs in an F-series bed.
Wish I was! I have a few people to see in that area. But..... reality is setting in and I need to get home and back to work! Already have a van torn down at the shop and 2 more lined up.
Chris,I gotta get your business plan and see if I can apply it to my bizness. You're getting cred everywhere.:smiley_drive:
Chris it was great meeting you at SEMA. The van and camper look great, picture's do not do it justice. Have a safe trip home.
Thanks

I bet you have a hard time getting home having to answer questions at every gas stop!

And with all this good press, I think there will be a LOT more work lining up...

Simple. Treat people the way you expect to be treated and do it nice so you don't have to do it twice.
