Finally took a good pic of the new rear airbag kit. This is a "floating" design that allows the bag to function without limiting the suspension droop. The kit uses Firestone bags, and the lower plate sits on top of the factory u-bolt plate with some longer u-bolts. Upper mount is bolt on with 3/8 hardware.

Here it is installed in the droop position

The 1st fuel tank is back from powder and ready for install. It's 39 gallons and has 2 aux ports for accessories and/or a drain. We'll be building a run late Jan/early Feb.

Any thoughts on putting a small rubber or PU snubber on the bottom of the bag to keep wear and noise down?

Time for Chris to mount up a GoPro and do some test runs. I really enjoy my van but the Q-suspension and my 50 yr old spine just don't get along. One or both need an upgrade.

I tested this setup on Vanaconda for over 2 years with no noise, so I think it's good. The bag is slightly compressed at ride height so there isn't much movement.*

Any updates on whether or not you will be offering that front received kit? If so, how much and when? If not, well, that's not an option Chris! :)

I will. Still have to finalize the drawings and price it out though. I'll need some time because we have two big jobs to get done in a few weeks.

No worries man. I'm in no huge rush. I'm still deciding what I'm going to do but I am leaning towards the front receiver. I'll just watch for more info. Thanks Chris!
