What's the plan, a bigger cab back and shorter bed?

Not on this one. We're planning some things for the new Transit.

Amber in the taillights?

Yep! To meet Russia regulations we went to the early tail lights.

Quad cab E350?...with mini flat bed for picking up axles and parts??

Did you change the corner guard design? It looks better!

Leaving V4 alone. Corner guard?

This is what im saying. The amber tails where only in the early stages of the econoline and I dont think they came back on the new vans.

Yep, true.

Congrats on the baby! V4 is still an awesome looking vehicle without the camper.

Thanks! It's fun to drive without the camper, I'm ready to fine tune some things and drive it more.

Chris - Congrats to you and your's on the baby! Very exciting times ahead I'm sure.

Thanks very much!

Transit? You got my attention! What's that project going to be called? T1?

Congrats on the baby BTW!

Thanks! Haven't got the name yet..... We'll see. But T1 is cool!

ya going to name the kid Ujoint or Stage 3?:coffeedrink:

Funny, the guys at the shop were pushing for "Vanna" My wife wasn't too amused by that.

Sad to see V4 loose the camper. Understand that it needed to happen though.

Yea, it will be missed. The gears in my head are already turning though :D

Pulled the XP from V4 over the weekend, the camper will be going back to XP so it can be used as a display model. When I came up with the idea for V4, we didn't have a baby on the way so the 2 seats isn't enough! Don't feel like getting a new chassis so back to the drawing board we go....

Congrats! Your wife is a great lady, I enjoyed meeting her at the last Expo. Hope to see you on this side of the country again.

CopesCobra Van Conversion

Chris,

It's late at night and I'm not going to text you plus I will forget in the morning to mention it so I'll do it here.

Cannot wait to get into the new Van with the Cummins and your full conversion package !!!!
Cannot come fast enough.

I don't know what shocks you are planning on putting on my CopesCobra conversion.

If you are not using the 5160 Billstein dual shocks and think they would be better than go ahead and use them.
As always, I'll leave it to your judgement.....

All the guys on the SMB forum are signing phrases for the work you are turning out !!!!

Thanks Jeff

RussiaVan keeps getting goodies, going home next week so we're trying to do as much as we can! Front bumper is on, OBA mount, Warn 12K winch, mesh behind the grille, and we eliminated the amber lights since they need to be clear for Russia. Threw in some LED's and I think it looks pretty good! Interior and we're all done...

And the Cummins conversion has begun.....

Tell us more about the Russia truck Chris. The fact that you're building one(I'm sure this isn't the first) for overseas is a big deal!

Dual 5160's it is then! Your van is in 1000 pieces at the moment, going to attack the frame tomorrow and we should have the 7.3 out Tues. Pics coming asap of course...

that van destined for russia is one of the most professionally built ive seen to date!

Thanks very much! I'll have more pictures soon as well as a walk around video.

It's been a great project, and we only had 3.5 weeks to get it done. Due to import laws it has to be in Russia by the end of April. We went all out on this one since it will see a ton of abuse and bad roads/conditions. It would be cool to have a fleet of UJ vans over there! Hopefully they like it and order some more. I'll take a bunch of pics and post a video before Tuesday.
