Became a bit of a cluster for Sat/Sun, they stopped letting people in which of course made quite a few guys angry (as they should be) Parking was the issue, the field is a big hill and it got sloppy real fast. Cars sliding into each other, etc.

Had 2 new van arrivals over the weekend, big & exciting builds. The 1st is for an existing customer of ours that want to go all out on a best of the best no holds barred 7.3 build. We've been searching for a good donor for a while, finally settled on this clean rust free 99. I'll post specs of the build once we start tear down but its basically going to be a frame off restoration.

2nd arrival is this late model V10 EB. 6", 37's, fender mods, ProRock 60 front with ARB & RCV's, Atlas 4 t-case, full float RSC upgrade for the rear, bumpers, OBA, King 2.0's with air bumps, quite a few things we've never done!

I had a great conversation with some engineers from Nissan & Cummins too. Excited for the future!

Wow, closed down entry at Rally East---rigs sliding into each other? What a mess. Unfortunate year for these events; OvEx was a mud pit, NW OvRally was hotter than heck, now East was a mudpit. Maybe Vermont will be a blizzard?

Whoa, those 2 dropoff vans sound like they'll be incredible. Can't wait to see them complete! And great news on Nissan and Cummins too!

Best part of the post right there! Glad to see you still making some progress on the NV front (right? ... or was the new Titan XD the topic?)

... and, oh yeah, I guess the two E-Series you describe sound pretty cool, also ... ... actually, in all seriousness, they both sound pretty epic.

Yea, still have a few questions but I have enough info to be dangerous now. Going to start looking for a nice used V8 NV later this year, early next. The XD is mainly based on the NV believe it or not. All of the development V8 cummins engines were in NV's so they could be driven w/o being spotted. Cummins still has a few that they've been using as airport shuttles/etc. Will have a few things to work out of course but the SAS will be the easy part.

Somebody above has got a nice rig there. It still has all of the toys on it!

Chris, is this one of your jobs? A friend of mine just posted it on FB, and he is on vacation out West somewhere near Colorado, I think.

Not one of ours but super nice! Looking at the front shock it looks like a SMB West conversion.
