UJOR Build Thread

Chris, you typically do not show the interiors when you make a video of a completed van before it goes to a customer. I realise that you are not building a camper, but what do your customers typically do? Are these just vans to go "camping", i.e. carry people and gear in comfort or do they go somewhere to be finished into a camper before the customer hits the road?

We don't do interior work so I generally don't show them. Every van is different, this one is going to SMB TX for an interior once we're done. So, there's just nothing to see yet. The vans we build get used for a variety of things.

Finalizing this mega build. 2014 E350, V10, 6" on 37" Toyo MT's, Dynatrac Pro Rock 60 F with 4.88s, ARB locker and RCV shafts, D60 rear FF conversion also with 4.88s and an ARB, Aluminess bumpers, Rigid lights, OBA system, Atlas 4 speed t-case, sPOD system, King 2.5 res shocks at all 4 corners along with air bumps, all u-bolt plates and shock mounts were made custom for this rig. Drives like a dream, ready for some wheelin!

6" with 37s? Do the King's allow this but the Fox's don't? Or can us 6" guys run 37s with a specific modification?

Fender mods

Would the owner want to sell two front (wheel) center caps?
PM if yes, thanks!

Maybe, let ya know.

He says in the video they opened up the fenders to accommodate.

Yep!

Bodywork required, no flares and 37's won't improve your turning radius.

Correcto.

Damn, someone really needs to build a high quality RV box for cutaway vans. That is really about the perfect setup for everything except tight or difficult trails.

Crestline makes a box that'll handle the tight trails (roll cage built in)

The time concerning part is the camprification

Good project for UJOR. SMB North has a low mileage 2007 V10 with Contempo top for $35K. Another $15K to UJOR would make a nice rig.
