Any suggestions on fan clutch removal on a 7.3? The nut is behind the fan tucked in. Didn't know if y'all ever changed one before.

There’s a specialty tool that makes it super easy. Canadian Tire (automotive store & more) had it in their loan-a-tool program. For those south of the 49th, Autozone should also have it. I picked it up, undid the nut, installed the new pump and returned the pump the same afternoon I borrowed it. It’s worth it to beg, borrow or steal the right tool. You’ll only need it for ten minutes, and then you can return it.

While you’re at it I’d recommend replacing the water pump... unless that’s what you’re already doing. I had to replace the cultch, and also replaced the water pump, hoses, and thermostat, all at the same time.

I am considering getting a new Lazy Daze RV.
I'd like to convert it to 4wd and am interested to know how your system affects the Ford warranty?

I’ve yet to hear about any warranty issues after the swap, anything we touch would be covered by us, The rest of the rig will carry its factory warranty.
