Ironically, it looks so much slower from the camera's viewpoint than from behind the wheel.

yea - no kidding.

The key to doing well in that course wasn't in any of the areas seen in the video. Guys that did well made that 140* turn in the back of the course where Wil was standing, and the other spot was that narrow 90* turn through the trees.

And of course V8 power helped with one of the rigs....:smiley_drive:

Yea and driving UP the sand mound rather than INTO it helps too....:yikes:



I do have footage from inside the vehicle but I havent seen it. I will post it as soon as I obtain it.

Of course we all remember Lance and the Flight of the One-Legged Loon... mere houra after he had taken an oath to be a bit more simpathetic to the FJ... But that video reminded me of 2 other moments that should not be forgotten:

1. The Holy Tundra and her nasty rumble. :drool:
2. Trail Monkeys fearless full speed power slide around that first tree. :Wow1:
