Hello, I am looking for information on importing a MB SK 1995 and a 1996 1234AF into the US. The 96 is 1 year shy of the 25 year rule but I only need the cab. Was thinking about doing the cab swap in Germany but wasn't sure if customs looks at the body or frame and engine. How costly is it importing and how long does it take? Also if you know of any escrow services that help secure the vehicle so it's less stress on my wallet.

I believe the cab has no serial number to worry about. Only the frame and engine.

Our 1120 has a vin plate the passenger side door will. It is screwed on.

Easy to place into a different cab. The important ones on the frame and engine are engraved.
