Great job on this!!
Do you have some pics or info on your wiring?
Is this a 12v system?

Sorry, I'm just now seeing your question. I will try to get some detailed pictures later this week and send them to you.

LOVE IT!!
I’m one of those “over thinkers”, too. Ive had this 5x10 Lowes utility trailer for months now, been collecting wood, and pondering over the best way to do a “removable camper pod”, (although I’m wanting a little more head room)

I’m stuck on how to go about doing the bottom/base, however.... framed and sandwiched between plywood or just a thick 3/4” or 1” w/o framing. Either way I’ll use flat 2x4s to serve as skids for sliding on/off the utility trailer. It’s hard to tell from your photos. What exactly was your method for the floor/base?

Hi. Recent member here. Found your tread on this 5x8 off road trailer you built.

I wish to do the same.

a few questions:

1- did you build the roof with one piece of plywood?
I mean, standard plywood is only 4 feet wide. ISNT your trailer 5 feet wide?

2- what did you use for corner bracing? Outside looks like 2”x2” extruded aluminum?

3- approx cost to build the “shell” portion? Plywood/doors/window/corner bracing?

Thanks!
